I’d already braced for the hassle of hunting down refills, but realising the original cartridge is reusable took that worry away completely. The replacement just slots in and those eight blades are loaded and ready, so it’s basically a no-brainer if you’ve managed to wear yours out.
Eight blades pre-loaded means I'm set for months without thinking about it, which is exactly what I want from a refill. The cartridge clicks in just like the original and feels identical on my skin. Honestly, the fact that I only needed this once says it all about the razor's design.
It’s kind of funny that you rarely need this, but having the extra cartridge on hand means I’m never stuck when the original finally wears out. The eight pre-loaded blades swap in without any fiddling, which I appreciate.
